Preservation, packing and marking to the letter of the contract
Defense packaging fails on details: the wrong barrier material, a missing desiccant unit, a bar code that will not scan at the depot. Our work is specified in writing and inspected before release.
Level A & Level B packing
Military level of protection packing for worldwide shipment and long-term storage, plus commercial (Level C) packing when the SPI allows it.
Barrier bagging & desiccation
Heat-sealed MIL-PRF-131 and MIL-PRF-81705 barrier material, desiccant per MIL-D-3464, humidity indicators and vacuum or gas-flush closure.
MIL-STD-129 marking
Unit, intermediate, exterior and palletized load marking with linear and 2D bar codes, shipping labels and address data verified against the order.
Kitting & repackaging
Bill-of-material kit builds, bulk-to-unit repackaging, relabeling and re-preservation of items received in non-compliant packaging.
Palletizing & shipment prep
Unitized loads, banding, stretch wrap, crating support and coordinated pickup so freight leaves on the required delivery date.

DLA packaging FAQ
What does DLA-compliant packaging actually mean?+
It means the item is preserved, packed and marked exactly as the contract requires — normally MIL-STD-2073-1 for preservation and packing method, ASTM and MIL-spec materials for containers and barrier material, and MIL-STD-129 for marking and bar coding. If the line item carries a Special Packaging Instruction (SPI), that document governs. We build to the packaging data on the award, then document what we did.
Can you handle a large or long-term contract?+
Yes. Our facility and trained workforce are sized for sustained production runs rather than one-off jobs, and staffing is scheduled against contract delivery schedules. Tell us the annual quantity and delivery cadence and we will confirm throughput and lead time in writing before you award.
How do you protect on-time delivery?+
Every order is scheduled backward from the required delivery date with material lead time built in. Barrier material, desiccant, cartons and lumber are stocked for recurring items, and each order is tracked against its RDD with escalation before a date is at risk — not after.
Do you work as a prime or as a subcontractor?+
Both. We quote solicitations directly and we also perform packaging, preservation and marking as a subcontractor for primes and manufacturers whose items ship to DoD end users.
What information do you need to quote?+
Item description or NSN, quantity, dimensions and weight, the packaging data or SPI from the solicitation, marking requirements and the required delivery date. If any of that is missing we will identify it before pricing so there are no assumptions inside the quote.
How do you handle items that arrive packaged incorrectly?+
We inspect on receipt, document the discrepancy, and re-preserve, repackage and re-mark to the required level of protection so the shipment is not rejected at the receiving activity.
